An Important History

July 1, 2008

Promotional pens can remind us all of the history our nation has recorded as we closely approach the anniversary of declaring independence from England 232 years ago. Thomas Jefferson drafted a document meaning to express how the American people had no desire to follow the same thought process as their former British overlords. Jefferson, along with a veritable treasure chest of historic American names, exacted the document  and on July 4, a new standard for governing people willing to subject themselves to laws established to protect the rights unowned under British rule was established. In the following weeks, Congress would seal its approval on this declaration. It is probable history would have unfolded quite differently if not for the sequences leading up to and following the drafting of the Declaration of Independence. Who knows if business as we know it today would have even existed in this current state? Promotional pens carry with it a legacy from the days where the United States was still under construction. The most important documents attributing the freedom we enjoy were written by the hands of great men, making these promotional products all the more profound today. As you celebrate this country of freedom, remember it was pens securing our legacy many times, yet another reason pens remain popular promotional items to which you have access.
